I have bought several add-on aircraft for FS2004, mostly airliners so was a bit sceptical at how good a "light" aircraft would be, especially as I don't really rate the FS2004 Mooney that is included with the flight sim. How wrong I was!

This Aircraft is a dream to fly, whether you like to fly IFR or VFR flights. Its also easy to fly with none of the associated instability that you get with the MSFS Mooney. Throttle control is good when on approach to a landing and the aircraft responds smoothly to pilot inputs.

The graphics are superb (even down to window reflections) and the aircraft "feels right". There are 4 liveries to choose from which is ok and the animations overall are done really well.

One of the things I really liked about the package was the inclusion of a "nose view" in the 2D panel. If, like me, you like flying in the 3D cockpit this option gives you a choice and the view either from the 3D or 2D is unobscured.

Okay, sometimes with light aircraft on the flight sim you feel like you are not getting very far (or high) very quickly....but thats the whole point. The flights in this aircraft are more relaxed and done at a leisurly pace, but thats ok. I tend to fly shorter flights using VOR because it keeps me busy and interested in whats going on.

I would definitely recommend this add-on. If you like light aircraft - buy it. If you don't (or like me) only enjoyed flying the Heavies.....go try it, you might be suprised!
