What can I say? For too long have I been waiting for a decent RPG to arrive on the PS3. I will keep this short, but this game IMO is brilliant. Graphically for a PS3 it is probably a bit behind some other games, but you know you don't mind that so much when you get a game as good as this. It has a real time battle system, which can be paused to fiddle around in the main magic/item/talent etc selection menu. This isn't usually my cup of tea - I would go for more of a traditional turn based RPG, like some of the earlier FF games, so my high praise for this game only goes to show how good it really is.

I am only about 15-20% of my way through and have already put in a good 30 hours of gameplay. So I can tell you it is brilliant value for money, and I even plan on playing it again to play as a different character of another race - as each has a different story linked to it.

The game is really in depth and there are hundreds of items to collect, potions to make and obviously different side quests to complete. So far I have not felt like the side quests have been at all tedious, as I have done in many RPGs previously.

Even though I have not completed it, I felt like I needed to write a review (my first on Amazon ever!) just to let everyone know that they should not let this one slip by. Hopefully anyone who buys it, will enjoy it as much as I have. :)
