I wont repeat much of what other people have said.
I've seen the films, and played similar games as mentioned in reviews ( dead space, resi evil - tho on a seperate note i think modern resi games are terrible and the first one was the best on the ps1)

so, i decided to rent my SAW on ps3.
Glad i did.
Firstly, Graphics... terrible... not what you'd expect to see on a ps3. maybe a ps2 yes. but not here.
second... its saw.. suppose to be blood etc.. but theres honestly not much of it.. why an 18? no idea.. could pass for a 15 cert.
third... well lets say i finished the game in 2 nights and i have it rented for a week! - i didnt play it non stop like you might think.. played afew hours here and there. and finished it.
4th... much to dark.. even with brightness turned up.. i struggled to see where i was going.
5th,.. story.. not that good to be honest and if the other people who played this game havent mentioned it the only voice actor who is the same is Tobin Bell (jigsaw), quite... maybe very disappointing! amanda's voice - different, tapps voice - different, even that guy Obi - different!
6th ... fighting is horribly easy and stupid
7th... apparently you can lay traps - selecting R1 button, but no-where in the instruction manual or in the game itself does it tell you how to "set" these traps. i resorted to google to find out! - which i also found out "annoyed" alot of other people.

and this is a big But!

the only good thing is this is a very good puzzle game.
i can only suggest this game for its puzzles, unfortunatly.

I wanted to like this game.. but with soo many flaws, especially the graphics! ( rent it if u think am kidding!) the only upside is the puzzles.

Good for a rent... not for a buy.. sorry!
